Ullswater Adventure Journey
This popular day on lake Ullswater involves a canoe journey on with a difference! Set amongst the spectacular backdrop of the local mountains you will journey by open canoe stopping off along the way to scramble up ghyll, abseil down the lakeside cliff into your canoe and east an alfresco lunch on a remote shore.
Sample Itinerary:
09.00 – Meet at lake side car park & kit up
09.30 – Introduction to canoeing & paddle skills
10.00 – Launch canoes & commence journey
11.30 – Ghyll scramble
12.30 – Paddle to beach
13.00 – Alfresco lunch
14.00 – Paddle to lakeside cliff
15.00 – Lakeside abseil
16.00 – Return to car park
17.00 – Pack up and finish
